Crackdown solves 45 crimes across the country

According to information provided by the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, on October 9, police officers ensured the disclosure of 42 crimes recorded on the territory of the republic, as well as the 3 cases left pending from previous periods. As a result of the operational-search measures carried out, 35 people suspected of committing various unlawful acts were detained and brought to account. At the same time, a total of 84 people, including 61 persons wanted as debtors, were apprehended in the course of the search and handed over to the relevant authorities.
As reported by Postxronika.az, citing the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during the day, 18 cases were identified related to illegal trafficking of narcotics, and 4 cases were recorded concerning the discovery of illegally held weapons and ammunition. Determined measures by law-enforcement agencies to ensure citizens’ safety and to combat crime are continuing without interruption. For each revealed fact, the relevant investigative and inquiry procedures are being conducted.
The prompt and professional activity of police officers serves to reliably protect public order and stability in the country. Prohibited substances and weapons removed from illegal circulation prevent possible new crimes in advance. The internal affairs bodies keep preventive oversight in an enhanced-regime mode to ensure peaceful living for citizens.
