UN’s new resident coordinator visited the “ASAN service” center

The United Nations’ newly appointed resident coordinator in Azerbaijan, Dmytro Shlapachenko, visited the “ASAN service” center to get acquainted with its activities. Ulvi Mammadyev, chairman of the State Agency, received the diplomat and provided detailed information about the state services and social innovation projects being implemented. The guest also became closely familiar with the “INNOLAND” Incubation Center, “ABAD”, and the operating mechanism of the Mobile ASAN service.
According to Postxronika.az, citing the “ASAN service”, the meeting specifically highlighted the prestigious awards the organization has been recognized with in accordance with the UN Charter, as well as the importance of the Contribution Agreement. Under the document, the application and promotion of Azerbaijan’s unique “ASAN” concept as an advanced model in the organization’s member countries are envisaged. The UN official highly appreciated the innovative management system presented and the export of this experience to other states.
This close partnership established between the parties makes an important contribution to the global spread of digital solutions in public administration. The concept promoted through the UN framework is viewed as a model of exemplary governance for the international arena. At the conclusion of the visit, the parties discussed future prospects for cooperation in the areas of innovation and capacity building.
