RH
Based on a relevant order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Safety Month of the “Attention, children!” campaign held across the country has been successfully concluded within the territory of the republic. Within the framework of the action plan, a series of nationwide awareness-raising events were organized by the Main State Road Police Department together with local police bodies. In cooperation with the relevant institutions of the Ministry of Science and Education, meetings were held at more than 200 educational institutions, with the participation of teachers, parents and students.
Postxronika.az reports, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs, that at meetings held jointly with the Absheron-Guba Regional Education Department, detailed information was provided to more than 2,000 students about rules of conduct on streets and roads. Visual materials were presented to students during the events, and educational skits prepared on road safety were also shown. Representatives of the traffic police said that the necessary preventive measures aimed at reducing child traumatization will continue in the future as well.
Increasing schoolchildren’s theoretical knowledge plays an important role in preventing accidents on the roads. A culture of behavior formed from an early age lays the groundwork for the upbringing of a future generation of disciplined drivers and pedestrians. State institutions emphasize that such social projects will be carried out regularly throughout the academic year.
