Russian ombudsman: A humanitarian crisis has arisen in Alyoshki
NQ
Russia’s Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova claims that a humanitarian crisis in the city of Alyoshki has been caused by a blockade imposed by Ukraine’s armed forces.
Postxronika.az reports with reference to TASS that, according to Lantratova, flights of Ukrainian drones over roads and mines placed at a distance along roads and near pedestrian crossings prevent the delivery of humanitarian aid.
She said that residents of the city have been left without supplies of food, water and medicine. Emphasizing that the situation is particularly worrying for the elderly, women and children, Lantratova noted that everything possible would be done to save the civilian population.
Lantratova also said that they contacted the U.S. side and the team of Melania Trump regarding the matter, and that the U.S. first lady is ready to provide assistance to the city.
