EU unhappy with US decision on Russian diesel fuel

The European Union (EU) is unhappy that the United States has allowed imports of Russian diesel fuel and is preparing to adopt a 22nd package of sanctions against Moscow.
Postxronika.az TASS reports that the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Policy, Kaja Kallas, said it is not the time to ease pressure on Russia. According to her, lifting restrictions on diesel fuel increases Moscow’s revenues.
Kallas said that the EU foreign ministers plan to approve large-scale additions to the sanctions lists on Monday. On October 8, EU ambassadors agreed to include more than 1,500 companies and individuals associated with the production of military and dual-use goods in the sanctions list.
Earlier, the United States suspended restrictions on imports of Russian diesel fuel, as well as secondary sanctions applied for selling it on the global market.
