Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, claims that Ukrainian servicemen shoot civilians while withdrawing and use them as living shields.
Postxronika.az reports, citing TASS, that in his statement Pusilin said that cases had been recorded in which Ukrainian troops kill people during a retreat and use them as living shields.
On October 7, the Defense Headquarters of the Donetsk People’s Republic urged residents of cities under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to move to the territory of the republic. The agency promised to help those who want to relocate with finding housing.
