Ukraine issue discussed during Putin and Trump phone call

A large part of the phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump was devoted to resolving the Ukraine conflict.

Postxronika.az Referring to TASS, reports that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the call took place at the initiative of the U.S. side.

According to Peskov, during the conversation Putin met with understanding some proposals from the U.S. side regarding steps aimed at reducing tensions. The phone call between the presidents took place on October 9.
