Russia’s prime minister Mikhail Mishustin held talks with Iran’s first vice president, Mohammad Reza Aref, as part of a meeting of the heads of government of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member states in Tajikistan.
Postxronika.az reports, citing TASS, that the meeting took place at the “Kohi Somon” government residence in Dushanbe.
The Russian delegation was led by the prime minister’s deputy Aleksey Overchuk, as well as Economic Development Minister Maksim Reshetnikov and other officials.
It should be noted that Mishustin and Aref met previously in November 2025 in Moscow, during a meeting of the SCO member states’ heads of government.
