APEC leaders to adopt joint declaration at China summit

The APEC summit to be held in Shenzhen, China, on November 18-19 is expected to adopt a package of documents outlining the region's future development directions.
Postxronika.az reports, citing TASS, that this was announced by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko. According to him, alongside a joint declaration by APEC leaders, the summit is also planned to adopt documents on the digital economy, artificial intelligence and the development of regional ties.
Rudenko noted that the Russian delegation is actively preparing for the meeting and is interested in the forum being held successfully under China's chairmanship. He said the APEC agenda includes issues such as preserving economic growth, maintaining open markets and promoting innovation.
