The Russian Foreign Ministry has suggested establishing a network of foreign bloggers and public opinion leaders to convey the country’s stance to an international audience.
Postxronika.az Citing TASS, it reports that this was stated by Kirill Logvinov, Director of the Department for International Organizations of the Russian Foreign Ministry, at a meeting of the Federation Council’s commission on information policy and interaction with the media.
According to him, the network could help deliver the country’s position to audiences that Russian media such as RT and Sputnik have not been able to reach in Western countries due to information restrictions.
