In Azerbaijan, 19.9 million tons of oil were produced in nine months

In Azerbaijan, 19.9 million tons of oil and 37.9 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced in January–September 2026.
Postxronika.az reports, citing the Ministry of Energy, on information released as operational data. During the reporting period, 15.5 million tons of oil and 18.4 billion cubic meters of gas were exported.
Of the oil produced, 11.8 million tons came from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field, 2.6 million tons from Shah Deniz, 0.4 million tons from the Absheron field, and 5.1 million tons from SOCAR’s share. In natural gas production, the largest share belonged to the Shah Deniz field, with 20.6 billion cubic meters.
