NATO Exercise Assessment Opening Ceremony Held
RH
As part of NATO’s Operational Capabilities Concept Program, an opening ceremony was held for the 2nd-level assessment exercise of the helicopter pair of the Azerbaijani Air Forces of the "Mi-17-1V" type. Participants were given detailed information about the maneuver’s main objectives, safety rules, and the tasks to be carried out. In accordance with the program, live firing tasks were conducted at the training range and practical firefighting drills were carried out.
Postxronika.az reports on AMN that, as part of the event, theoretical and practical tests were organized to assess the individual skills of military personnel, and the participants met the requirements. The main purpose of the tests, which will continue until October 29, is to verify and certify that the helicopter pair’s operational capabilities comply with NATO standards. Such international assessments help strengthen our aviation’s combat readiness and its ability to interoperate with alliance forces.
Certification of national aviation units according to NATO standards expands our army’s opportunities to participate in international peacekeeping missions. Successful execution of high-risk flight and firing tasks is further evidence of the professional level of our military pilots. Such joint initiatives implemented in the defense sector contribute to strengthening our country’s military might and its role in regional security.
